Restaurant Pro Shop Shipping Policy:
At Restaurant Pro Shop, we are committed to delivering your orders promptly. Typically, most orders are shipped within 1 to 5 business days, excluding custom or special order items. For precise lead times on your purchased items and to ensure delivery, please contact us directly. We utilize national carriers and select the most cost-efficient and effective delivery method based on your purchased items. In case of an unexpected delay in shipping or order processing, we will promptly notify you. Please note that orders with multiple items may be delivered at different times.
Change of Shipping Address:
Should you wish to ship your order to a different address than the one initially indicated at checkou, please contact us immediately. Please be aware that changing the shipping address after an order has shipped incurs associated fees. The cost depends on the shipping method and number of shipments. If your order has already left our warehouse before the address change, we cannot guarantee delivery to the new location. Unsuccessful delivery attempts may result in the order being returned to us and treated as a standard return.
Free Shipping Items:
Items marked as eligible for free shipping on the product page, shopping cart, and checkout ship free within the 48 contiguous states. Additional charges apply for items without free shipping. Shipping to HI or AK will incur an extra charge, and a customer service agent will contact you for shipping lead time and a quote after checkout.
Important Delivery Information:
Your delivery will be handled by a national carrier, which is obligated by law to deliver to a loading dock. If you do not have a loading dock and your item is heavy, you must be available to assist in unloading. If 24-hour notice is needed before delivery, please inform us. Failure to receive the merchandise when the truck arrives may result in storage and/or re-delivery charges.
Shipping Terms:
Free Freight means free shipping within the United States, excluding Hawaii and Alaska unless stated otherwise.
Lift-Gate Delivery:
Lift-gate delivery involves using a lift gate to lower equipment to the ground. If a lift gate is required and you lack a loading dock, inform us at the time of order for an additional cost. Note that Lift-gate delivery is to the curbside, and bringing the unit indoors is the purchaser’s responsibility. A lift gate is required for items weighing more than 100 lbs.
Inside Delivery:
Inside delivery entails the carrier moving larger equipment into your building, assuming it is on the first floor. This service incurs an additional cost and must be requested at the time of order, primarily for larger items.
Expedited Shipping:
Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge in certain cases, with orders are processed within 12 business hours. Delays caused by manufacturers or freight carriers are beyond our control.
Warranty Guide:
For units not meeting specifications, contact us immediately with relevant information. Restaurant Pro Shop’s obligation is to submit the information to the manufacturer or a local authorized service agent. Further service arrangements are between the customer and the authorized agent.
Parts & Labor Warranty:
Manufacturers provide a warranty for new units and parts against defects, with coverage ranging from 30 days to 5 years. The warranty does not cover standard wear parts, improper installation, or lack of basic preventative maintenance.
Compressor Warranty:
The extended compressor warranty applies only to sealed parts of the compressor, excluding other components.
Not Covered by Warranty:
The warranty excludes standard wear parts, issues from improper installation, and lack of basic maintenance. Neither Restaurant Pro Shop nor manufacturers are responsible for loss or damages arising from food or product spoilage claims.
Residential Applications:
Most commercial units are not covered for parts or labor when used in non-commercial or residential applications.
